What Happens When You Heat Style or Chemically Treat Your Hair Too Often?
One of my friends loves to play with her hair colour. Some days her hair would be fiery red, some days blond with strikes of green, and when she gets bored, she is back to black. She also likes to style it often, wavy for summers, noodles curls in winters, and whatnot; and when it comes to attending a party, she goes all out by getting a perm and styling her hair the most fashionable way possible.
Then with all the fun, came the drama when her hair started to get dry, frizzy, and damaged. And now, she wants her old, healthy shiny hair back.
Here, you would agree that this is the story of most of us, who like to style our hair. Isn’t it? Before, you look for the solution, have you ever wondered why this happens? Allow me to explain, as for that you need to understand your hair first.
“95% of our hair is made of Keratin (protein), which is composed of three layers, - Medulla (the core), Cortex (the middle layer), and Cuticle (the other layer).”
