What do dead skin cells do to your skin?     

Our skin has a cell renewal cycle, where it produces new healthy skin cells to replace the old ones. These new healthy cells slowly reach the top and die, forming a layer of dead skin cells. This layer of dead skin cells acts like a barrier, preventing dust and dirt from coming into direct contact with your healthy skin. But there are many drawbacks as well.
    
Dead skin cells are so fine that they can get into your pores, along with other impurities, and clog them resulting in acne. Dead skin cells can also make your skin look dull and rough, and make your wrinkles and fine lines become more visible. But the worst part is, that it can reduce the effectiveness of your skincare products and regime, by absorbing most of it and preventing them from reaching the live healthy cells.
